Shaunice Ajiwe is a magazine writer based in South Philadelphia, hailing from Prince George’s County, Maryland. She is a graduate of Temple University’s Lew Klein College of Media and Communications and is currently associate editor at Philadelphia Magazine.

 

Much of her writing focuses on cultural criticism, social phenomenon, food, art and local policy. She also has experience in freelance photography, as well as radio show and podcast hosting and production.

 

Though a renown complainer on a wide variety of minor inconveniences, she often finds this skill to be a strength in the critical and explorative nature of her work.
